Tendências do fitness ibero-americano para 2025: um estudo comparativo regional

Introdução: A indústria do fitness continua a adaptar-se às características e necessidades únicas dos clientes em diferentes regiões. Estudar as tendências em fitness permite aos profissionais do setor tomar decisões informadas, aproveitar novas oportunidades e fomentar uma cultura de saúde e bem-estar.
Objectivo: Este estudo observacional e transversal tem como objectivo determinar pela primeira vez as tendências de fitness mais relevantes na Iberoamérica e examinar possíveis diferenças relativamente às tendências globais de fitness para 2025.
Metodologia: Foi realizada uma consulta nacional on-line em dois países da Península Ibérica (Espanha e Portugal) e três países do continente americano (México, Brasil e Chile), seguindo a metodologia utilizada pelo Colegio Americano de Medicina del Deporte (ACSM, pelas suas siglas em inglês) desde 2006. para avaliar a relevância de mais de 50 tendências do sector.
Discussão: Foi recolhido um total de 5.262 respostas nas cinco questões nacionais, com uma taxa de resposta média de 13,44%. Algumas das tendências de fitness mais relevantes na Iberoamérica para 2025 incluem: exercício para perda de peso, treino pessoal, contratação de profissionais de exercício certificados, programas de exercício para adultos mais velhos e treino de força tradicional.
Conclusões: Os resultados obtidos apontam para a manifestação das semelhanças entre os inquéritos ibero-americanos e as suas diferenças significativas em relação às tendências globais do fitness. Os hallazgos podem ajudar os profissionais do setor a planear serviços e a tomar decisões estratégicas de acordo com as prioridades de cada região iberoamericana.
