O HIIT de curto prazo aumenta o VO2máx, mas não consegue diminuir os ácidos graxos livres em mulheres com estilo de vida

Resumo

Estudos anteriores investigaram os efeitos do treinamento intervalado de alta intensidade (HIIT) na aptidão cardiorrespiratória e na composição corporal em populações com sobrepeso. No entanto, o efeito a curto prazo do HIIT e dos ácidos graxos livres séricos (AGL) em jejum em mulheres com estilos de vida sedentários não é claro. O objetivo deste estudo foi investigar o efeito do treinamento intervalado de alta intensidade de 2 semanas na porcentagem de gordura corporal, ácidos graxos livres e VO2máx em mulheres adultas sedentárias com sobrepeso. As quatorze jovens sedentárias (com idades entre 18 e 30 anos) foram divididas aleatoriamente em grupos controle e HIIT. O grupo HIIT realizou um programa de treinamento de duas semanas, 20 minutos de ciclismo repetido por 10 segundos intercalados com intervalos de descanso de 50 segundos por sessão, quatro dias por semana. As variáveis ​​foram tomadas antes e depois da intervenção. O resultado mostrou que o VO2máx melhorou significativamente (p<0,05) e a alteração no percentual de gordura corporal diminuiu significativamente (p<0,05) no HIIT em comparação ao controle. Os níveis de AGL aumentaram no HIIT e diminuíram no controle, mas não foram significativamente diferentes entre os grupos (p≥0,05). A conclusão deste estudo revela que o HIIT pode ser uma estratégia confiável para combater a obesidade na população adulta para melhorar o nível de aptidão física e diminuir a percentagem de gordura corporal. Pode causar aumento do metabolismo energético. No entanto, o seu mecanismo subjacente não aparece através do FFA. Então, mais estudos devem ser feitos para descobrir as outras substâncias metabólicas do corpo humano.
