O papel moderador da recompensa no impacto da supervisão académica e da multitarefa na melhoria da satisfação profissional dos professores

Introdução: As recompensas podem aumentar a satisfação profissional dos professores, atendendo às suas necessidades e preferências individuais. Fatores como o nível de graduação, a automotivação e o apoio ao aluno influenciam a competência dos professores e a satisfação no trabalho. Objectivo: O objectivo deste estudo é investigar o papel das recompensas como moderadoras do contributo da supervisão académica e da multitarefa para a satisfação profissional dos professores. No contexto complexo da educação, vários elementos, incluindo a eficácia da supervisão e a pressão da multitarefa, afetam a satisfação profissional dos professores. Metodologia: O enquadramento metodológico aplicado nesta investigação é quantitativo, utilizando um desenho ex post facto no qual participaram 212 docentes de institutos públicos selecionados através de uma técnica de amostragem por conglomerados em vários estágios. Os dados foram recolhidos através de questionários adaptados do Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire (MSQ) e Supervisory Behavior Description Questionnaire (SBDQ), distribuídos através do Google Forms, e posteriormente analisados pela técnica de Modelação de Equações Estruturais de Mínimos Quadrados Parciais (SEM -PLS). Resultados e discussão: Uma análise abrangente dos resultados revelou que a supervisão académica teve um impacto substancial na satisfação profissional dos professores, enquanto a multitarefa não mostrou um efeito significativo. Está demonstrado que as recompensas servem como moderadoras que reforçam a relação entre a supervisão académica e a multitarefa na satisfação profissional dos professores de educação física. Conclusões: Os resultados realçam a importância de um sistema de recompensas adequado para melhorar a motivação e a satisfação profissional dos educadores, o que pode promover a qualidade global da educação. Este estudo recomenda que os decisores políticos formulem estratégias mais eficazes para melhorar a satisfação profissional dos professores através de um sistema estruturado de recompensas.
