Explorando o impacto de sons e ruídos urbanos impulsivos no treinamento esportivo ao ar livre usando análise sonora em tempo real com IA

Resumo

Este estudo examina o impacto dos sons e ruídos urbanos impulsivos no desempenho dos atletas durante sessões de treinamento esportivo ao ar livre. Especificamente, explora como vários desportos reagem às perturbações sonoras ambientais. Sons urbanos impulsivos, definidos como ruídos repentinos e agudos que ocorrem de forma imprevisível em ambientes urbanos, foram o foco deste estudo. Utilizando uma amostra de 160 alunos-atletas, divididos em grupos controle e experimental, o estudo utilizou testes t para amostras independentes e análise de variância (ANOVA). Esses testes foram utilizados para avaliar variações no desempenho entre esportes que exigem alta concentração (por exemplo, tiro com arco, golfe) e esportes que não exigem tanta concentração (por exemplo, futebol, basquete). Os resultados revelam que, embora os ruídos urbanos impulsivos não afectem uniformemente o desempenho atlético global, os atletas em desportos de alta concentração experimentam um declínio significativo nas métricas de desempenho, indicando uma maior vulnerabilidade a tais perturbações. Em contraste, os atletas de desportos menos concentrados apresentaram impacto insignificante sob condições de ruído semelhantes. Estas observações sugerem uma interacção complexa entre as exigências específicas de um desporto e a sua sensibilidade ao ruído, desafiando a visão tradicional de que o ruído urbano perturba universalmente as actividades desportivas. O estudo destaca a importância de considerar as demandas cognitivas de um esporte ao avaliar os efeitos dos fatores ambientais no desempenho. Recomenda o planejamento estratégico na concepção e programação do treinamento esportivo urbano para minimizar os impactos negativos do ruído impulsivo, especialmente para disciplinas que exigem intensa concentração e foco mental. A investigação futura deverá investigar as capacidades adaptativas individuais e desenvolver estratégias personalizadas de mitigação de ruído para diferentes contextos desportivos.
