Efectividad de una intervención educativa basada en escenarios interactivos para mejorar actitudes hacia la estadística deportiva: un estudio cuasiexperimental

Resumen

Introducción: Las actitudes hacia la estadística constituyen un factor determinante en el rendimiento académico y en la capacidad para recopilar, organizar, analizar e interpretar datos en las ciencias del deporte.

Objetivo: Evaluar la efectividad de una intervención educativa basada en escenarios interactivos sobre las actitudes hacia la estadística deportiva en estudiantes universitarios.

Metodología: Estudio cuasiexperimental e intervencionista con un diseño pretest-postest. La intervención consistió en un programa educativo de 16 semanas basado en escenarios interactivos, integró recursos digitales, tutorías y actividades prácticas. Participaron (n= 50) universitarios de ciencias del deporte. Las actitudes se midieron antes y después de la intervención, mediante el cuestionario Attitudes Toward Statistics-36 (SATS-36), que mide seis dimensiones: afecto, competencia cognitiva, valor, dificultad, interés y esfuerzo. Los datos se analizaron mediante estadística descriptiva, la prueba de Wilconxon de Rangos con Signo y t student para identificar diferencias.

Resultados: Se observó una mejora significativa en la dificultad percibida en el aprendizaje (p < 0,001), lo que evidencia una reducción en las barreras afectivo-cognitivas. Se presentaron cambios en las dimensiones de afecto (M: 4,26± 0,57 vs 4,15±0,73), valor (M: 5,31± 0,88 vs 5,06±0,90), competencia cognitiva (M: 4,55± 0,78 vs 4,29±0,75) y esfuerzo (M: 6,26± 0,81 vs 6,01±0,76), los cuales no fueron significativos.

Conclusiones: Las intervenciones educativas en escenarios interactivos pueden ser una estrategia prometedora para mejorar las actitudes hacia la estadística, especialmente en reducir la percepción de dificultad. Estos hallazgos respaldan la incorporación de metodologías activas e innovadoras en la enseñanza de la estadística.
