Efeitos de um programa de treino de propriocepção de 6 meses na velocidade de jovens jogadores de futebol

Resumo

Introdução: A velocidade é uma componente essencial do desempenho no futebol. Enquanto o treino tradicional se baseia na força e na potência, a proprioceção — a capacidade do corpo para alcançar a posição e o movimento — é fundamental para o equilíbrio e o controlo neuromuscular, fatores determinantes na eficiência do movimento.

Objectivo: O objectivo deste estudo foi analisar os efeitos de um programa de treino proprioceptivo de 6 meses na velocidade linear e na velocidade de mudança de direcção em jogadores de futebol adolescentes de 17 anos.

Metodologia: Realizámos um teste controlado aleatório com 62 jogadores de futebol de 17 anos. O grupo experimental realizou treino propriocetivo baseado na estabilidade do tobilo, da barra e do quadro, enquanto o grupo controlo seguiu a sua rotina habitual. Se o desempenho em velocidade e agilidade for determinado antes e depois, será utilizado com cuidado e de forma independente (p < 0,05).

Resultados: O grupo experimental apresentou uma velocidade linear e mudanças de direção significativamente melhores ao longo de seis meses, embora o grupo controlo não tenha apresentado alterações relevantes. Foram observadas diferenças significativas entre os grupos nos medicamentos pós-teste (p < 0,05).

Discussão: As melhorias são atribuídas ao maior controlo neuromuscular, equilíbrio e estabilidade articular decorrentes do treino propriocetivo, que otimiza a execução de movimentos rápidos e precisos.

Conclusão: Um programa de treino de 6 meses melhorará significativamente o desempenho de velocidade dos jovens jogadores de futebol, razão pela qual é recomendado para inclusão em jogos desportivos juvenis.
