The objective of this study was to determine the relationship of homophobia, transphobia, sexism and biological knowledge of homosexuality and transsexuality in students of first year of physical education in Chile. To this end, 161 physical education students from two universities in the city of Santiago de Chile were surveyed, applying the Inventory of Ambivalent Sexism, the EHF-10 homophobia scale, the scale of negative attitudes towards trans people (EANT), the Genderism and Transphobia Scale and the Biological Knowledge of Homosexuality and Transsexuality questionnaire (CBHT). The results show low levels of homophobia, transphobia and sexism, with even lower scores in women. Those who have gay, bisexual and transgender friends/acquaintances have lower levels of homophobia, transphobia and sexism. Finally, homophobia, transphobia, gender discrimination, transphobia/genderism and sexism scores are positively related in a medium and high range. Biological knowledge about homosexuality and transsexuality is not related to the other variables studied.
