Resumo

Introdução e Objectivo. Este estudo explorou o papel do apoio interpares no bem-estar psicológico das jogadoras de futsal de elite no contexto de um desporto masculino na Indonésia.

Metodologia. Utilizou-se um desenho qualitativo descritivo com análise temática, selecionando propositadamente seis participantes: três pares do meio desportivo e três de fora do meio desportivo. Foram conduzidas entrevistas semiestruturadas para identificar as formas de apoio emocional, informativo e instrumental proporcionadas às atletas.

Resultados. O apoio emocional, caracterizado pela presença, empatia e encorajamento verbal, surgiu como o mais influente, ajudando as atletas a gerir a ansiedade e a fortalecer a autoconfiança. O apoio informativo incluiu aconselhamento específico ao contexto e reforço de estratégias relevantes, enquanto o apoio instrumental abrangeu assistência tangível, como ajuda logística, preparação física e mentoria pré-competição.

Conclusões. Em conjunto, estas formas de apoio promoveram a resiliência, a motivação sustentada e aumentaram a capacidade das atletas para desempenharem as suas funções num ambiente competitivo exigente. Os resultados destacam a importância de integrar a mentoria entre pares em programas de desenvolvimento de atletas femininas de elite para criar ambientes psicologicamente seguros e inclusivos. Esta investigação oferece insights práticos para treinadores, psicólogos desportivos e decisores políticos que procuram promover o bem-estar das atletas femininas em desportos dominados por homens.
