Resumo

Este estudo tem como objetivo avaliar a eficácia de uma combinação de massagem terapêutica e terapia de calor na melhoria da amplitude de movimento articular em pacientes com dor no ombro. A dor no ombro costuma ser acompanhada por amplitude de movimento limitada, o que pode afetar as atividades diárias e a qualidade de vida. A massagem terapêutica é conhecida por aliviar a tensão muscular e melhorar a circulação sanguínea, enquanto a terapia térmica tem o efeito de reduzir a rigidez muscular e aumentar a elasticidade dos tecidos. Espera-se que a combinação dessas duas terapias forneça benefícios sinérgicos na superação de problemas de dor no ombro e na melhoria da amplitude de movimento articular. Este método de pesquisa é pré-experimental com uma abordagem de design de pré-teste e pós-teste de um grupo. O estudo consistiu na administração regular de uma combinação de massagem terapêutica e terapia térmica a um grupo de pacientes com dor no ombro. A amplitude de movimento articular foi avaliada antes e depois da intervenção usando um desenho pré-teste-pós-teste. A análise estatística, incluindo teste t e teste de significância, foi utilizada para avaliar a diferença entre as médias pré-teste e pós-teste. Os resultados mostraram um aumento significativo na média do pós-teste em relação ao pré-teste. Os resultados do teste de significância também mostraram que o efeito ocorrido foi significativo (0,001 < 0,05), indicando a eficácia da combinação de massoterapia e terapia de calor no aumento da amplitude de movimento articular em pacientes com dor no ombro. apoio à aplicação de uma combinação de massagem terapêutica e terapia de calor como uma abordagem eficaz na reabilitação da dor no ombro, melhorando a amplitude de movimento articular em pacientes com limitações de movimento no ombro. Este estudo contribui para a compreensão científica dos benefícios sinérgicos de ambas as terapias e fornece uma base para o desenvolvimento de melhores diretrizes de tratamento para indivíduos com condições semelhantes.
